Important Information: A minimum of 82 hours must be outside mass communication, 67 of which is in liberal arts and sciences. A minimum grade point average of 2.5 is needed in mass communication.

Suggested Outside Classroom Activities: Media Network, Public Relations Club, Honors Program with grade point average of 3.5, reporting and writing for the A&T Register, reporting, directing, videotaping for video productions in television studio, report and write for university and college publications, performing volunteer journalism and mass communication work for student organizations and local community, attending meetings and conferences affiliated with journalism and mass communication.
