Campus

As a courtesy, the University’s Parking Services offers a Campus Shuttle Services. The Aggie Shuttle is on-campus transportation available for students, faculty/staff and visitors. The Aggie Shuttle operates Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. The shuttle schedule is set for arrival every 20 minutes at designated sites (Aggie shelters, main buildings, etc.) around campus for pick-up and drop-off.

To obtain a copy of the Campus Shuttle Schedule visit the Department of Public Safety’s website or their office on-campus at 406 Laurel Street.

Public/City

As an international student or scholar you may need transportation to and from the University campus or to travel the City of Greensboro. Public transportation is service that can be used by anyone for a fare/fee. Refer to the following information, for public transportation:

  The GTA provides transportation to the campus and city routes throughout the City. To obtain route schedules and the cost of fares you must contact GTA.

  The Greyhound Bus Line provides transportation to other cities and states. For city/state travel schedule and cost of fares contact Greyhound Bus Line. Note: Make sure to inquire about the route stops made to and from your destination point. Request the estimated arrival time to your destination.

  Train service may vary in destination routes to city/state. The cost of fare from one train station to the other will also vary.

Baggage

The University has NO provisions for storing baggage before your arrival. If you choose to have your baggage sent in advance, be sure to make arrangements to have it held by the shipping agency for pick-up by you upon arrival.
