Permanent Resident (Green Card)
There are several methods to obtain Permanent Residency. However, there is only one option that applies to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. To read about the various options go to the site below.

Employment Based
If you are interested in filing for permanent residency based on employment at North Carolina A&T, you should contact the International Students and Scholars Office. NCA&TSU will only petition for non-immigrant employees who meet all the criteria for filing. Due to the complexity, requirements and length of time for processing through the US Citizenship and Immigration Service, it is imperative that the ISSO first speak with the employing University department. Neither University departments nor non-immigrant employees can initiate the Permanent Residency petition outside of ISSO. We are unable to discuss any aspects of permanent residency based on employment until we have spoken with the employee’s supervisor or department chair.
