Under U.S. Federal law, all individuals must have authorization to work in the United States before the University can legally employ them.
University Departments wishing to invite or employ a foreign national should consult with the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) to discuss the best immigration category for employing the individual. The employment category will determine the required immigration process for work authorization approval. It is recommended that the department consult with ISSO staff early in the hiring process.
A foreign national cannot begin work at NCA&TSU without the proper employment document.
