Laboratory allows focus on service systems and growing E-commerce/small package shipping issues. 

Equipment in this laboratory includes

  • fixed and portable bar-code readers

  • network controllers

  • bar coding software

  • printers

  • high speed PCs connected to the virtual enterprise

  • PC network products

  • radio frequency data communications hardware

  • Small-scale warehousing systems are housed to investigate storage/retrieval strategies.

 

Equipment includes:

  • Five (5) Pentium Computers

  • Automatic Storage and Retrieval Warehouse Model

  • Bar Code Conveyor Sortation System
