This
College of Engineering laboratory houses a flexible manufacturing
cell with the capability of producing a variety of small milled and
assembled parts.
The cell consists of
The operations of the cell are integrated using a
VisualBasic program interfaced to an Allen-Bradley PLC and Microsoft
SQL Server RDBMS.
This laboratory also has a Bridgeport CNC Milling
machine and several high speed PCs connected to the
virtual enterprise.
