Chairperson and Professor, B.S. in Physics in 1972, Yonsei University, Korea; M.S. in 1977 and Ph.D. in 1983, Mississippi State University. Dr. Eui Park, after working three years with Boeing Commercial Airplane Company, joined North Carolina A&T State University in 1983. He has initiated and developed a successful manufacturing program in the Department of Industrial Engineering and is currently in charge of the School of Engineering Manufacturing Committee which has been developing and implementing an inter- disciplinary manufacturing engineering program. Dr. Park has also attracted many research projects in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (mostly in Planning and Expert System Development) and Computer Vision (mostly in Statistical Pattern Recognition). Since joining North Carolina A&T State University he has published over forty papers - mainly in the areas of Manufacturing Systems and Artificial Intelligence. He has been actively participating in several professional societies including IIE, SME and AIAA.
