Consulting Statistician with IBM.

Faculty Profile:
After taking early
retirement from IBM in 1987,
Mr. Van deZande started a second career as an
adjunct professor at A&T.
Since
then, he has taught a variety of courses, and has taught Reliability Engineering
courses for the local chapter of ASQC.
During the academic year 1992-3, he
taught in the Industrial Engineering Department of the University of Mauritius
under a Fulbright Scholarship grant and also taught in their equivalent of a
U.S. Community College.
Mr. Van deZande
is also on the staff of Kennedy-Western University (a correspondence school) and
has created two courses for them: Reliability and Advanced Quality Control.
