Faculty Profile:
During past ten years, Dr. Seong has
been conducting a variety of projects on human judgment performance. His
effort includes application of human judgment policy capturing methods to the
study of human operators’ judgment performance with automated decision aids,
resulted in a development of the Hybrid Lens Model.
Dr.
Seong was actively involved with several projects from the US Air Force,
Center for Multisource Information Fusion (CMIF), and National Science
Foundation. In these responsibilities included identification of factors
affecting human judgment performance with data fusion based automated decision
aids, the role of human operators’ trust in automated decision aids in
judgment performance, which resulted in a numerous publications.
