This project addressed the information flow problems in the assembly
department that result in errors in the output from the Assembly Department. The
problems addressed were:

assembly supervisors), resulting in sometimes mistakes in assembly

Incorrect labels on boxes being shipped

Timeliness problems with shop pack release.

Scope
|
The project addressed the development of a plant layout for the company
at the proposed location, and improved methods for all operations at the new
plant. All operations including rack manufacture, rack retrieval, manual
plating, automated plating stations, manual plating lines, all drying
operations, water treatment, and sludge removal were addressed.
