Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award, this powerful documentary talks you inside Hurricane Katrina in a way never before seen on screen. Incorporating home footage shot by aspiring rap artist Kimberly Roberts and her husband in the 9th Ward, the directors weave this insider’s view of Katrina with a devastating portrait of the hurricane’s aftermath. (note: because of strong language, we recommend that no one under 16 attend the screening)
