Because participation in the Honors Program adds another level of complexity to your academic program, advising becomes particularly important. To ensure adequate advising, nearly all Departments with Honors students have appointed an Honors Advisor who has the responsibility of advising all of the Honors students in a Department’s major(s). These Honors advisors will be trained to carry out their duties by the Director of the Honors Program who will also keep Departmental Honors Advisors abreast of any changes in Program requirements. The Director and Assistant Director of the Honors Program also serve as advisors to Honors Program students.
