For non-urgent medical matters requiring medical attention please call (336) 334-7880 to schedule an appointment. You may also schedule an appointment in person at the clinic.
Typical medical conditions requiring an appointment would include but not be limited to:
- Elective procedures (warts, suture, and toenail removal)
- Follow-up from previous visit
- Injuries occurring more than 7 days ago
- Pap Smears/Gynecological exams
- Non-emergency lab work
- Non-urgent skin problems
- Pregnancy Testing
- Non-emergency infections (ear, throat, skin)
- Physicals
- Sexually transmitted infection testing without symptoms
- Long term medical problems not requiring immediate attention
- Prescription renewals

Triage Care during Operating hours & Weekends
During regular operating hours and weekends, students who require immediate care for acute illnesses or injuries may be seen in the urgent care clinic. Students are triaged and treated according to severity or urgency of their condition.
Typical medical conditions requiring Urgent Care Services would include but not be limited to:
- Acute, disabling injury or pain
- Illness with temperature greater than 102° F
- Lacerations of acute penetrating wounds
- Fainting episodes
- Acute chest pain
- Urgent emotional problems
- Urgent asthma attacks or breathing difficulty
- Contagious illness (Measles, Chicken Pox)
- Urgent bleeding
- Seizures or urgent head injuries
- Urgent burns
- Rape
- Poisoning
- Urgent abdominal pain
- Emergency contraception (Morning After Pill)
- Urgent skin problems (rash, hives)
- Possible drug reactions
- Urgent nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
