Women's Health provides care by board-certified physicians. The student health fee covers most of Women's Health services. There are additional charges for certain lab tests, procedures, and treatments. Health insurance may cover these additional fees. Payment is preferred at the time of service. Student accounts may be billed if needed. The student insurance plan can be discussed with Mrs. Darnetta Mack and Associates. |

Laboratory Services |
Charges
- There are charges for the annual physical, Pap test, surgical procedures, and
laboratory testing. Please ask your provider to explain charges.
Results:
- If Pap smear results are abnormal, the patient is contacted as soon as the
Health Center receives the reports and asked to make an appointment to review results.
- It is essential that patients provide Student Health with current addresses and
phone numbers to expedite sending these reports. |

Sexual Assault |
-Any attempted or actual sexual activity that is unwanted or nonconsensual including oral or anal
penetration, sexual touching, fondling, rape and a variety of other acts. Sexual assault is a crime
under North Carolina law. |

| -Under North Carolina law is defined as:
1. Vaginal intercourse : By force, against a person's will |

| -In North Carolina, the law considers it rape when sex is forced on someone who is mentally incapacitated. This includes someone who is intoxicated. In other words, the law recognizes that when someone is drunk, they are unable to give true consent. |
