Student Health Insurance

Using the Student Health Insurance Plan is easy. There are no Co-pays or Deductibles for covered services at the Student Health Center.

Your Student Health Insurance Plan is based upon a Primary Care Provider.

Primary care is given by the Student Health Center on campus.*

Make your appointment at the Student Health Center by calling the
(336) 334-7880

1. After your visit, the Student Health Center will file your claim to the student insurance.

2. Services that are covered by the plan will be paid directly to the Student Health Center.

3. Any services that are denied by the plan will be billed to your student account.

NEED TO KNOW IF YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN QUALIFIES?

- Any commercial health insurance plan that provides insurance coverage in the United

  States and is comparable to the Student Health Insurance Plan. (i.e. Aetna, Blue

  Cross Blue Shield, Cigna)

- Medicaid

- Medicare Part A and B

- Tricare (formerly known as CHAMPUS)

- CHAMPVA

- Department of Veterans' Affairs (must be eligible for medical treatment at VA Medical Center

   and have a valid ID card)
