Tuition Assistance

    Eligible in-state students may receive an in-state tuition remission award that provides full tuition support for graduate students serving as university supported graduate assistants.

    This award applies only to tuition, not fees. All students selected must receive a minimum of $1,000 per semester in departmental support

    Extent of Support

  • For Master's Students - 4 Semesters
  • For Doctoral Students - 6 Semesters

  • North Carolina A&T State University is committed to providing this award to all eligible students for the time period specified.
  • Colleges and/or departments may extend this award for a longer period of time.
  • The in-state tuition remission award applies only to tuition, not fees.
  • All students must pay required fees unless the source of the stipend provides funds specifically earmarked to pay the student's fees.
  • The in-state tuition remission award is available for the Fall and Spring semesters only. Summer sessions are not covered.
  • The amount of the award is based on the number of hours in which a student is enrolled.
  • Recipients may be eligible for renewal awards by maintaining an over-all GPA of 3.0 or above.
