Provisionally Admitted
Students
Students admitted to a graduate academic program in a provisional admit status must
meet
specified conditions to satisfy deficiencies within an identified time period before
obtaining an
unconditional admit status. Students are notified in their official admission letter
of the conditions
they must meet and the length of time they have to remove them. Consequently, a
registration hold
will be placed on the students' record until all conditions have been met. Graduate
students cannot
complete graduation requirements in a provisionally admitted status.
