A Stroll Down Memory Lane
Every now and again I come back and visit the original site of The Realm of David Gaines. I've since moved, but there's something nostalgic about still having a home at North Carolina A&T State University.

Life has been traveling at light speeds since I left school. One minute I'm hanging out at the Memorial Student Center, the next I'm reminiscing about "those days" back at T. You never realize how fast time really flies when you're in school. You never actually figure it out until you've realized it's almost all gone.

And I'm not just speaking about how many times the second hand travels the dial of your watch. It has more to do with what you do in that 60 seconds. I'm not on a quest to be comfortable, just make it or do okay for myself. I'm on a mission to be rich. CL65 AMG rich. I speak to a lot of people about this journey I've embarked, and I always do everthing I can to motivate people to also begin their journeys. Never settle for making someone else rich just to make enough money to take a four day vacation.

The most common rebuttal I hear is people saying they don't have enough time. Everyone thinks they have to make more time in order to begin that journey. I'm always told once they get their finances under control they'll be able to make more time.

Well, I have some bad news for those who say that, but nothing you already don't know. You can't make more time. When the clock strikes 12 while the moon is holding the sun's place in the sky, you are given exactly 24 hours like everyone else. You can't buy more time; you can't create more time; you can't even fake it.

Somehow someway Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and many others found a way to "manage" their time (time is money) and figure out how to complete their travels to the land of richdom.

I'm not going to lecture, as my friends say I always do. All I'm going to say is it's good to come back to the original Realm, reminisce about when I didn't know any better, and share my story with whomever happens to stumble by.

Life is short. Don't spend the early years not learning how to spend your time wisely and your latter bitchin' because no one told you that time is money and the better you manage your time, the more money you're going to make in the future.
