Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) The Minority Institutions Technology Support Services - II (MITSS-II)

On September 30, 2005, North Carolina A&T State University was awarded a $3.2M Time and Materials Contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) The Minority Institutions Technology Support Services - II (MITSS-II) contract has the purpose of providing the Department of Defense with analytical, engineering, logistical, communications, integration, computer systems research and development, application software development, testing and maintenance, information assurance, and education and training services. These services may include benchmarking, base lining, acquisition planning, risk assessments, evaluations of cost and performance benefits of alternative approaches, information systems analysis on conceptual, proposed, and/or existing information and communication systems and architectures which include mathematical computations, operations research, simulation, modeling and other scientific techniques. The MITSS-II contract provides technical support at all DISA locations and other DOD locations in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) and all Military Service and Defense Agency contracting offices may place task orders (TO) against the MITSS-II Contract Vehicle.
