Groundbreaking Ceremony
Located adjacent to the School of Education building, the new $25 million facility is approximately 71,000 square feet of programmed space and will serve the entire campus.

UNC Administrative Cuts
The 16-campus UNC system expects to eliminate about 900 administrative positions this year. Those positions and other administrative costs could account for 75 percent or more of cuts that public university campuses will be asked to make this year.

New General Academic Classroom Building (located next to the School of Education on Bluford Street) will house instructional, laboratory, and faculty departments, including University Studies, The Honors Program and The International Programs offices.
