Principles of democracy, freedom and justice
Dr. Franklin McCain, Sr. provided a history lesson about the university’s involvement with the civil rights movement. McCain explained how he and his colleagues discussed and debated the principles of democracy, freedom and justice before the historic Woolworth’s sit-in, on Feb. 1, 1960.
