Professor Peter Rojeski and Interim Provost Alton Thompson explain for U.S. Congressman Mel Watt
Professor Peter Rojeski and Interim Provost Alton Thompson explain for U.S. Congressman Mel Watt the results of a N.C. A&T research project at the LEED Platinum Certified Proximity Hotel. Measurement and verification of energy use by Rojeski and his students helped the Proximity to become the first hotel in the country to receive a platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. This Center for Energy Research and Technology (CERT) resulted in energy savings of over $40,000 per year for the hotel.
