Many of you have seen, heard or read snippets of information about what is going on at North Carolina A&T State University. Come hear for yourself to be prepared to be the source of the right information vs. the misinformation.

If you won't be attending the MEAC basketball tournament, don't worry. There will be another opportunity to hear Dr. Hackley's presentation on Saturday, March 17th (time to be announced). This session to be a live webcast from the campus. An audio feed will also be available for those without internet access.
   
Good News for School of Nursing!
The students, faculty and administration in the School of Nursing are continuing to implement their outstanding plan for ensuring NCLEX-RN success. They have spent two days working Dr. Sylvia Flack, a nurse consultant to strengthen the scores for the 2007 graduates. Elements of the plan include leadership and administration, faculty, students, curriculum, communication and the environment.
NCLEX-RN scores have been 69% for the past two years. The faculty and students will change that for 2007.
School of Nursing
Sigma Theta Tau Induction:

The School of Nursing will induct members into Mu Tau Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International on March 16 th at 6 p.m. in the Student Union. Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing, is one of the largest international nursing organizations that works to foster, develop and connect nurse scholars and leaders worldwide to improve health care.

Capping and Pinning Ceremony:
The School of Nursing will have its annual Capping and Pinning Exercise on Saturday, March 17 th at 1 p.m. in Harrison Auditorium. The annual event, which precedes commencement is a memorable time-honored School of Nursing tradition representing one of the first milestones reached in a nurse's career.
