Jeremy Jones Returns
Aggie baseball star Jeremy Jones, who was drafted in the 25th round of the June 2006 Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies, has decided to return to North Carolina A&T for the 2006-2007 school year and play the 2007 baseball season in an Aggies uniform.

After carefully researching the financial implications of student fee increases plus N.C. A&T student bus ridership interests and demands, the previous administration decided not to participate in the GTA College Pass Transit Program. However, when students return to campus this fall, the present administration will discuss the program with students.

Wickham in the Capitol

N.C. A&T's Institute for Advanced Journalism Studies director DeWayne Wickham organized a black columnists dinner meeting with U.S. House of Representatives Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi.

During the dinner meeting, which took place on July 19, in the U.S. Capitol, Pelosi discussed a wide range of issues with the black columnists, from the war in Iraq to the upcoming congressional elections.
