NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION
CELEBRATION
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State
University will sponsor this annual event to help to help prospective students make their
2007 resolutions a reality. The event is
from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 3, on the
first floor lobby of Smith Technology Building,
402 Laurel Street.
N.C. A&T faculty, staff and administrators
will interact with participants and explain how
to register for undergraduate and graduate courses
for the Spring semester. During the registration-information
session, A&T officials will focus on admissions
and financial aid for undergraduate and graduate
students. Prospective students will talk one-on-one
regarding their specific, individual questions and
concerns. University officials will advise and register
traditional and nontraditional students for Spring
semester classes, which will begin Monday, Jan.
8.
Participants will be able to apply for the Spring
semester two ways: 1) may apply on-site with a non-refundable
$45 check, cash or money order 2) apply on-line
by using a credit card at www.ncat.edu and then
click admissions.
Seasonal, tasty treats will be served for
lunch to complement the New Year's tradition of
collard greens and black-eyed peas.
This is the seventh year A&T has sponsored
the New Year's Resolution Celebration for Academic
Success to provide information to prospective students
who want to advance their education. In the past,
hundreds of traditional and nontraditional students
have registered during the New Year's Resolution
Celebration for undergraduate and graduate programs
at A&T.
The public is invited to attend this free event.
For additional information, call 336.256.0863.
