LIVE GRADUATION VIDEO STREAMING

N.C. A&T will make history Saturday, Dec. 11, when the University’s Fall Commencement is streamed “live” from the Greensboro Coliseum at 8:30 a.m.  This will be the first time an A&T commencement will be available via the Internet worldwide.  It can be viewed by going to the A&T homepage at http://www.ncat.edu/ and clicking on the link.  Viewers must have Real Player, which can be downloaded for free by going to http://www.real.com/. Real Player should be downloaded in advance of the event.  Please be sure to download the “free” version of Real Player.  There will be 1,000 streams available on a first come, first served basis.  The live stream will begin at 8:30 with the processional and end at the close of the recessional.  More than 600 students will receive degrees and the commencement speaker is Xerox executive Emerson U. Fullwood.

HEAR IT FIRST IN AGGIELAND

A&T student radio professionals are helping the campus hear new CDs before they are officially released via preview parties.  WNAA-90.1 sponsored a listening party in the Memorial Student Union for the brand new CD from American Idol winner and High Point native Fantasia.  Following rave reviews, another listening party was presented in Smith Hall to preview the new CD by American Idol winner Ruben Studdard.  Student radio station volunteers worked with record companies to coordinate both campus events including refreshments and raffles.  Aggies attending the viewing parties previewed the new CDs and gave their opinions and feedback of the music.
