These individuals are expected to become leaders in local communities, as well as in business, technology and the sciences. North Carolina A&T State University stands ready to prepare students for entry and achievement in this complex society. In recent years, North Carolina A&T has experienced unprecedented growth in enrollment, and with it, the need to provide larger and more modern facilities to enable our students to meet these challenges. Tuition, state support, civic partnership, and alumni and corporate donors defray only a small part of our ever-expanding facilities.

However, private contributions play a special role in A&T's continuing development. Whether providing scholarships for deserving students, enhancing instruction, or improving facilities and equipment, private contributions create a margin of excellence that state support alone cannot provide.
