Students always worry about the tax forms every year when spring comes. This page is set up to help you fill those forms by yourself and get all of your tax refund!

First of all, let’s suppose your income of the last year came from RA, TA, fellowship, scholarship, etc. on campus. There is an income tax treaty "United States - the People’s Republic of China Income Tax Convention" signed in 1984. According to Article 20(b) of that treaty, "grants and awards from a government, scientific, educational or other tax-exempt organization" of students and trainees should be exempt. Thus, we can get all our tax back by quoting this U.S. income tax treaty. For the same reason, please pay attention to the term J in 1040NR-EZ form.

Copies of federal and state tax forms were attached in this page. Information of the person shown in those forms is fictitious, don’t forget to change those information when you are filling your own. For the 2000 calendar year, the tax return is due by April 15, 2001. Your forms should be filed before the date. If you have any more question, please contact me or go to the Federal Building(320 Federal Pl.) in downtown. Good luck!
