Welcome to the Department of Graphic Communication Systems and Technological Studies (GCSTS) at North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. The department is housed in the School of Technology in the new Smith Hall and the renovated Price Hall. The primary mission of GCSTS is to prepare students for careers in education, technical graphics (CAD, etc.), and printing/publishing.
Seven professors and a team of instructors provide plenty of individual attention and high quality service in teaching and advising the approximately 230 GCSTS students. The faculty routinely uses advanced instructional technology in presentations and structure courses to provide opportunities for non-traditional students to further their education.
