- Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, North Carolina A & T State University, Greensboro, N.C., 1982-1987
- Research Interests
- Several series of cyclopentyl ketones (monoketones, 1,2-diones and 1,2,3-triones) and ß-keto esters are being prepared in our laboratory. The cyclopentanones and ß-keto esters are potentially useful synthons in the preparation of a variety of compounds with pharmaceutical and other synthetic applications. The present emphasize of our laboratory is to prepare compounds with anti-tumor/anticancer activity.
