  • Research Interests
    • The study of structure/function and metal binding of biomolecules by the use of spectroscopy such as UV, fluorescence and NMR.
    • The study of structure/function of a number of synthetic compounds as prospective treatment for cocaine addiction by the use of spectroscopy such as UV, fluorescence and NMR.

  • Current Projects
    • In the process of studying a number of metal ions binding properties to several modified uridines and modified-uridines-containing short oligonucleotides.
    • Determining the three-dimensional structures of two compounds, that were shown to have activity that render them to be prospect treatment for cocaine addiction, in chloroform and in lipid solutions by NMR and molecular modeling.
