The
theme "From Generation to Generation"
reflects the idea of one generation of
Aggies supporting the next generation
of Aggies.

In 2001 Chancellor
James C. Renick appointed
a Planning and Resource
Council to do Strategic
Planning.
North Carolina A&T's
strategic vision - FUTURES
- was born. This vision
embraces the Interdisciplinary
University model. The
interdisciplinary model
is an approach to education
that aspires to further
enhance our strong academic
programs through curricular
innovation, teaching across
disciplines, and making
"connections"
for students so that solutions
to societal problems are
based upon expertise in
more than one field.
