How do I declare a major?
In order to declare a major, a student must meet all requirement set forth by that particular major. Once requirements have been met, a student may submit a change of major form to his or her advisor. Change of major forms may be obtained from the registrars office, the Center for Academic Excellence, the department of your intended major, or your advisor.

How long do students have before declaring a major?
A student is required to declare a major at or before (45) semester hours.
How many hours do I have to take per semester?
A student should take between 15 to 16 credit hours per semester. Undergraduate students must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours in order to be considered a full-time student.
