The Department of Business Education at North Carolina A&T State University provides quality instruction for the development of basic and comprehensive business teachers, and prepares students for computer technology positions in business, government and the professions.
The Master
of Arts in
Teaching (MAT)
degree
is intended for
candidates who
have already
completed an
undergraduate
degree in
business and who
have decided to
enter the
teaching
profession. The
program is
comprised of two
phases. Phase I
includes courses
that will enable
completers to
become eligible
for the "A"
business
teaching
license. Phase
II includes
master's level
teaching
courses.
Candidates who
complete both
Phases I and II
will earn the
MAT degree.
