Both teams have veterans that have been through the fire and have new young talent that will step in and contribute right away. This year will feature one of the better squads in my career, but it all comes down to one key factor: we must stay healthy."

All-Americans Cherone Wright (long jumper) and Tim Walls (60m dash, relays) will lead the men's team, while Charles Shoffner (400m), recognized as one of the MEAC's best track athletes last season, will provide experience and depth among the squad.
