The Erica N. James Scholarship Ball
The Erica N. James Scholarship was established March of 2004 and dedicated to in the memory of our beloved Alpha Mu soror who went home to be with the Lord in 1998. This scholarship provides academic scholarships to two deserving females, one who is college bound and one who is already in pursuit of higher learning, and exhibit academic excellence and involment in their local communities in high esteem. We focus on these attributes because of Soror James' commitment to her own scholarship and leadership in the community while she attended the North Carolina A&T State University. The scholarship recipient(s) must attend or be a continuing student at North Carolina A&T State University. Currently, the scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 for each recipient.
We are currently starting to raise money for our 5th Annual Erica N. James Scholarship Ball. To purchase an advertisement space in our scholarship booklet, a contribution in the amounts of $25, $50, or $75 must be made. However, a contribution or donation in any amount would be greatly appreciate it. For further information on how you can make a contribution see chapter members.
