2 + 2 Transfer Program In Elementary Education

Program Overview

The 2 + 2 Transfer Program provides a seamless transition for community college students who have earned an Associate Degree to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  Articulation agreements exist between several local community colleges and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.  Under the auspices of this agreement, students who successfully complete the appropriate course of study leading to the associate degree and who meet the requirements for admission to the University are eligible for full status candidacy in the teacher education program.

 

Mission Statement

To recruit and facilitate the transfer of community college students to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.

 

Goal

To increase the number of community college transfer graduates who are licensed in Elementary Education.
