The Annual Ronald E. McNair Commemorative Celebration is designed to commemorate the life and accomplishments of the late Dr. Ronald E. McNair, an alumnus of North Carolina A&T State University. The Symposium, an integral component of the Celebration, will provide undergraduate and faculty scholars the opportunity to present research findings, hear and view cutting edge research findings; engage in meaningful dialogues; and network with other scholars and graduate school representatives while celebrating the life and achievements of Dr. Ronald E. McNair.
Symposium Features

Graduate/Professional School Fair, which will feature the country's top graduate schools.

Networking Opportunities - Students will be able to interact with other scholars and graduate/professional school representatives.

Presentations - Scholars will present research findings and be exposed to the best minds in the frontiers of research education in the United States.

Publications - Scholars will have their research published in the Celebration/Symposium Program Booklet.

Cultural Events including a panel with discussion with the heroic A&T Four who as freshman in the 1960's envisioned and carried out the lunch counter sit-in of February 1, 1960 in downtown Greensboro. Their defining moment in the struggle for civil rights.
