Meet Allahquan Tate, SGA President
Allahquan Tate is a senior, attending North Carolina A&T State University where his major focus is in architectural engineering with a minor focus in applied mathematics. Tate is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since his enrollment at the university, he has remained actively involved in numerous campus activities. Tate served as freshman class president on the university’s Student Government Association and then two terms as a senator for the College of Engineering. In his current role as Student Government president, Tate is the university’s leading voice of advocacy, governance and action and serves as the chief liaison between the students and the university’s administration.
Throughout his matriculation at North Carolina A&T State University, Tate has served the Aggie community as an Aggie Student Ambassador, Orientation Student Leader and a member of AmeriCorps. He also holds memberships in the College Democrats of America and the National Society of Black Engineers. Upon graduation, he plans to attend graduate school and obtain his masters level degree in architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
