Meet Emani Terry , Vice President of External Affairs

A native of the peachy state of Atlanta, Georgia, Emani J.L. Terry humbly serves a second term as the SGA Vice President of External Affairs. She is the daughter of Toni and Darryl Terry and sister to Darryl Terry II. Terry. Terry is obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a concentration in Mass Media Production, as well as a minor in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Dance.

While at North Carolina A&T, she has become immersed into the Aggie family by participating in various student organizations and community outreach. Such organizations include National Association of Black Journalists, New Student Programs, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Student Government Association under the Ogletree and now Greene Administration. As the Vice President of External Affairs she hopes to carry out her platform of “ROUTE 91: All Roads Lead to Aggieland” by connecting with alumni, linking up with local organizations and companies and continuing to expand and promote our brand. Participation in these organizations highlight on her hobbies and interest which include various facets of performing arts particularly dancing, eating especially cheesecake, and traveling on adventures.

Upon obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree, Terry hopes to become a Producer or Director for a known television or film company. Also, she plans to obtain a Master degree in Business to open her own dance studio. With her experience and determination, her philosophy is that as long as she impacts at least one person a day, she has fulfilled her purpose on earth.
