Oliphant

Peggy Oliphant, M.S. serves as the director of Veterans and Disability Support Services. She received her undergraduate degree from Bennett College and her master's degree from North Carolina A&T State University. Oliphant has worked at the N.C. A&T for 28 years, the last 15 in support of veterans and and those with disabilities. She is a member of numerous local, state, and national professional organizations.

Sarah "Penny" Torrence is the university certifying offical. She is the liason between the Veterans Administration and N.C. A&T. She has been with the state of North Carolina for 24 years and has served in this office for two years.  Her responsibilities include but are not limited to certifying the students for VA education benefits and making sure the University is in compliance with all VA guidelines and policies.
