Lifestyle Services

The Student Health Center offers Massage Therapy and Acupuncture.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the hands-on manipulation of soft tissues and muscles of the body to promote good health and optimal body function. After receiving a massage, most people experience overall muscle relaxation, decreased stress levels, increased circulation and flexibility with an overall feeling of physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.  Try it!  We think you will like it.

Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world.  As part of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture aims to restore and maintain health through the stimulation of specific points on the body by penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metal needles.

The acupuncture clinic at the Student Health Center will focus on common concerns frequently addressed by non-medical treatment.  Call for a consultation and find out if the alternative therapy is for you.

Massage and Acupuncture services are offered to students, faculty, and staff. Insurance is accepted. To schedule an appointment, contact the Student Health Center at (336) 334-7880.
