College Level Examination Program

The College Board, which develops the CLEP tests, describes the program as follows on their web site:

The College Level Examination Program® (CLEP) gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of its 33 examinations. Earn credit for knowledge you've acquired through independent study, prior course work, on-the-job training, professional development, cultural pursuits or internships.

Select CLEP tests may be applied towards studies at North Carolina A&T. The list below, copied from the North Carolina A&T State University Undergraduate Bulletin details which tests meet N.C. A&T course requirements.

Registration

Registration for a CLEP testing session at North Carolina A&T may be completed by submitting the Registration Form and Counseling Services Examination Fee. Instructions are provided in the downloadable form. Please note that under certain circumstances, potential examinees may reschedule testing sessions, but, cancellations WILL NOT be honored. Additional information is available in the Registration Form.
