Career Fair Information

Career fairs are an excellent way to recruit talent and brand your organization all in one location. It affords employers, educators, students and alumni an opportunity to network to exchange information, build relationships, explore careers, discuss industry trends, and most of all, promote career opportunities. The Office of Career Services hosts four (4) career fairs throughout the academic year.

To view a list of fairs and dates, click here. Registration information will be available on the main page of the career services website approximately four months prior to each fair. We encourage employers to invest time with new freshmen who will attend these events eager to learn more about the various industries, employers, and careers. This is the ideal opportunity to educate freshmen on the knowledge, skills and abilities desired in order to obtain future employment.

Career Awareness Program/Fair (CAP)

CAP is the largest career fair held at the university and one of the largest among the University of North Carolina School Systems. It is held in September and spans over the course of two days. Day One consists of a morning program, booth setup and evening banquet. Day Two is dedicated totally to the career fair. Day Three is optional and affords employers the opportunity to interview students met during the career fair. The CAP event has been attended by a record 224 employers and over 690 representatives from various industries nationwide. It attracts more than 3,000 students from all classifications and majors who are interested in an internship, co-op, and full-time career opportunities. 

Graduate & Professional School Fair (GAP)

The GAP fair is designed to enable colleges, universities, and professional programs the opportunity to speak with students who are interested in pursuing a master, doctoral, or professional degree. This event is held in November and is open to students of all majors and classification. Click Here to Register.

Spring Career Fair

The Spring Career Fair is held in February and is the second largest fair held at the university. It is a one-day event and is open to employers from all industries who are interested in recruiting students/alumni for internship, co-op, and full-time positions. Over 125 employers and approximately 1,500 - 2,000 students participate in this event. The Spring Fair is open to all majors and classifications.

The Office Career Services at North Carolina A&T State University (N.C. A&T) and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) have partnered to host an annual Education Career Fair. This change provides a customized, strategic shift that we believe will help you maximize your talent recruitment efforts and more easily identify new college graduates for your organization. This event is designed to connect you with talented students from A&T and UNCG in one convenient location.
Standard Registration (October 30th-February 14th) Out of State Employers: $250 | In-State Employers: $200.

All registrations include an entry for two representatives, one six-foot table with linens if requested, parking in the Greensboro Coliseum, shuttle to and from the Kaplan Center, a buffet lunch and wireless internet connection.
-Access to electrical outlets can be purchased for $25.00.
-Additional representatives may participate for $50.00 each (up to four representatives per table).
-Cancellation deadline: February 14, 2018. Refunds will not be available after this date.
