Adult/Non-Traditional Students should attend one of the Transfer and Adult/Non-Traditional Student Orientation Sessions. Learn about the University School and College programs and services, academic opportunities at NC A&T, balancing personal life and discovering campus life resources for adult/nontraditional students.
Adults and nontraditional students include students who are:
- Returning after an extended absence
- Students 24 years of age or older attending for the first time, married or single, or with other nontraditional circumstances
A&T is eager to welcome and assist our US military transition from military to academic life. As part of the larger orientation for adult and nontraditional students, an all-inclusive veteran session will take place in the to address the needs of veterans. Veterans will learn about their VA education benefits and financial aid options, managing wellness on and off campus, special veteran events and support programs. This is also an opportunity to meet A&T faculty, staff and other veterans making the transition to academic life.
