Researchers in the NSF Engineering Research Center for Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials

Overview of research at N.C. A&T

Research at N.C. A&T is conducted within the seven schools and colleges, the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN), and in interdisciplinary research centers. Most of the university's research is organized into nine research clusters -- multidisciplinary areas in which A&T focuses its research resources.

Our major projects include collaborations with other universities, such as the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Revolutionizing Biometallic Materials, and interdisciplinary projects within the university, such as the Center for Excellence in Post Harvest Technologies.

Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering

The JSNN is a collaboration between N.C. A&T and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. N.C. A&T faculty members in the Department of Nanoengineering and affiliated faculty members from many departments across campus conduct research and work with graduate students in degree programs leading to the M.S. in nanoengineering and the Ph.D. in nanoengineering.

Database of faculty researchers

Information on specific N.C. A&T researchers can be found in the REACH NC database, an easily searchable Web portal that enables users to find thousands of researchers in N.C. colleges, universities and research institutions (click for more information ... or here to go directly to the website). The initial phase of the database includes researchers in the College of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Other academic units will be added.
