Kenan Fellowships 2014-15

Online applications for the Kenan Fellows Program are open from December 16, 2013, through February 9, 2014.

The Kenan Fellows Program offers fellowships to K-12 public school teachers across the state. The year-long fellowship provides teachers with STEM experience outside the classroom by partnering with a mentor in university or industry research during the summer.  Fellows translate their experience back to the classroom and share relevant and engaging lessons with students and colleagues. Teachers remain in the classroom while engaged in the fellowship and receive a stipend upon completion of the program.
