A&T Professors Elected Presidents of ACA

GREENSBORO - Two North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University professors have been elected president of different divisions of the American Counseling Association. Dr. Wyatt Kirk, chairman of the department of human development and services has been elected president of the Association of Multicultural Counseling and Development; and Dr. David Lundberg, an assistant professor in the department has been elected president of the Association for Assessment in Counseling.

It is rare occurrence for two faculty members in the same department at the same university to be elected president of their respective divisions of the ACA in the same year.
Kirk and Lundberg will begin serving as presidents-elect in the July 2003. The professors recently co-authored a book chapter entitled "A Test User's Guide to Serving a Multicultural Community."
