Exelon Donates $25,000 to A&T

GREENSBORO - Exelon Corporation recently awarded North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University’s College of Engineering $25,000. The funds will be used to create scholarships for engineering students.

Exelon representative Carlton Blue presented a check to A&T Chancellor James C. Renick on Feb. 21.

Exelon Corporation is one of the world’s largest power producers and wholesale marketers. It is comprised of three operating groups: Exelon Energy Delivery, Exelon Generation and Exelon Enterprises.

Exelon Energy Delivery serves more than 3.4 million electricity customers in northern Illinois through a company called ComEd. In addition, approximately 1.5 million electricity customers and 430,000 natural gas customers are served in Southeastern Pennsylvania through PECO Energy.

Exelon Generation is one of the worlds’s leading power producers and wholesale marketers that consists of three operating groups: Exelon Nuclear, Exelon Power and Exelon Power Team.

Exelon Enterprsies includes a variety of businesses that compete nationwide for energy supply, infrastructure services, integrated communications, thermal technologies, energy-efficient offerings, turn-key solutions and capital funding.
