Greats Calendar. |
For the past 20 years, the Gallery of Greats
Calendar has paid tribute to key black leaders in a wide range of
professions including politicians, authors and filmmakers. The theme for
the 2003 calendar, "Turning Dreams Into Reality," aptly
describes the impact that educators have on thousands of students that
pursue degrees from our country's public HBCUs. Renick was among three of the eleven prominent black educators from public historically black colleges and universities in North Carolina featured in the calendar. The others are Dr. Mickey L. Burnim, chancellor of Elizabeth City State University and Dr. Harold L. Martin, chancellor of Winston-Salem State University. |
